Limber Warranty Policy
At Limber, we design and make products built to last. Our warranties reflect our confidence in their quality, durability, and craftsmanship.
This policy applies to products purchased directly from Limber or through authorised Limber retailers in New Zealand and internationally.
1. Limber Mini Desk – Lifetime Guarantee
The Limber Mini is covered by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
For the purposes of this guarantee, “lifetime” refers to the reasonable lifetime of the product and its materials, not the lifetime of the owner.
If your Limber Mini develops a fault due to a manufacturing defect within its reasonable lifetime, Limber will, at our discretion:
- repair the product, or
- replace it with the same or an equivalent product.
This guarantee applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
It does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- cosmetic changes to timber over time
- damage caused by misuse, accident, modification, or improper assembly
- commercial use unless explicitly agreed in writing
2. Limber Desk, Limber Stool, and Limber-Made Accessories – 10-Year Warranty
The following products are covered by a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use:

- Limber-made accessories (including trays, add-ons, and proprietary components)
If a defect arises within 10 years of purchase, Limber will, at our discretion:
- repair the product, or
- replace it with the same or an equivalent product.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
It does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- cosmetic ageing of timber or finishes
- damage caused by misuse, accident, modification, or improper assembly
- commercial use unless explicitly agreed in writing
3. Third-Party Components – 1-Year Warranty
Certain components of Limber products are supplied by third-party manufacturers. These include, but are not limited to:
- electronic components
- power units
These components are covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.
If a fault occurs within this period, Limber will coordinate repair or replacement on your behalf in line with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
4. Cushions, Mats, and Soft Accessories – 30-Day Returns Only
Cushions, mats, and other soft accessories are supplied in line with manufacturer guidelines and are not covered by a warranty.
However, they are eligible for returns within 30 days of purchase, provided they are:
- unused or in like-new condition
- in original packaging
- free from damage or excessive wear
This aligns with our standard 30-day return policy.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product is covered under this policy, please contact us with:
- proof of purchase
- your order number
- photos or video of the issue
- a brief description of the problem
Email: hello@limberlife.co
We will assess your claim and advise next steps.
6. Consumer Guarantees Act (New Zealand)
Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). You may have additional rights that apply regardless of this warranty.
How to submit a warranty claim
STEP ONE: Please check your claim is valid;
Does the damage appear to be attributable to defective materials or workmanship?
Does the damage appear to be due to impact, abuse, negligence, or reactions to heat, solvents, or harsh detergents?
STEP TWO: For Limber Desks purchased from our www.limber.nz store please email at hello@limberlife.co with;
Please tell us which product you are claiming for (Describe the product).
What has happened (Describe the problem).
Provide a copy of your receipt.
Provide relevant photos and videos showing the defect clearly.
STEP THREE: We will get back in touch and if the product needs repairing or replacing we will ask you to send it to us. You are responsible for shipping charges to Limber.
Overnight and 2-Day shipments to Limber will be returned in the same manner at our expense.
If a product comes back to us, we first aim to repair it. However, if that’s not possible, your product will be replaced, and it will be recycled or discarded immediately. If the product is replaced, we do work to keep as much material out of the landfill as possible. For soft goods, we save fabric and components in excellent condition to use for future repairs. We are continuously searching for solutions to keep products in use longer, to give materials a second life, and to ultimately recycle those materials into a new life. Please let us know when creating your claim if you would prefer your product to be returned to you instead of replaced and recycled. The warranty remains valid on repaired and replaced items.
If the problem is not covered under warranty nor repairable, the product will be returned as is.
